Sleeping situations

Dogs are so funny they can cram up in random places and fall asleep and when you see them you just thinking, how in the world is that comfortable? Whenever Coco sees clothes, blankets, bags, or covered areas she thinks... sleep...small...me! And she goes right away and snuggles her little body into a weird position so she can sleep. After shes all done she sits/lays there and then looks up at you like, what are u looking at punk! For example last night she finds some blankets in a laundry basket and so she got right in and layed there contently for the night. The other day when I came home from school I saw her head in the loop of the handle and her body sprawled out on top of the bag. And a weird thing about her is she likes to rest with her head dangling off something. Like our window seat, whenever she takes naps her head is off the side and her stomach is up, waiting for people to pet her. She is a funny and crazy little puchekinns and that's why we love her! <3

Excersize!

Going to the dog park is actually really fun! And its good for your dogs. My dog coco likes to go but she starts of chasing the ball for about a minute then decides its too much work. So when I go to the dog park I think I get more of a work out then the dog. But its still really fun! You get to meet other peoples dogs and socialize! Its really fun going with friends too, so I had an idea to have a special dog park day when we invite all our friends with dogs to go to the dog park so its a meeting for the dogs as well as the people! Keaping up with the coat

Coco has a short coat because she gets really sensitive. But maltese's usually have long luxurious coats of hair that takes a lot of grooming for. So I am going to tell you how to keep your pets hair nice and clean! First if you have a white dog then under their eyes there's usually brown gucky stuff, is this is true then you can eaither A. Cut the hair/fur away or B. Use product (NuVet) product will work but you have to give your pet a dosage so if that wont work for your dog then you might want to cut it out or also washing the dog works. If you wash your dog then you can clean the coat of hair/fur at the same time. I would start with bathing your dog then trying the product just in case cleaning her works. Now to keep up with the actual coat, you should wash your dog about every one to two weeks. You might think this is too much washing but the dogs coat can get really dirty in just one day so after waiting a week it will get pretty dirty. Also every day or every couple days just try brushing out your dogs hair/fur, you only need to do this for a little while just to get out all of the old falling out hair/fur. If you just stay with the pase of the coat then your dog will feel great and you wont be gagging every time you cuddle your dog! Its a win-win situation!!!!!

Update!

Today after coming home from a school event i brought home a pizza because they had too many and then i put it on our window seat and then later i hear a loud kirplunk! And I wondered what it was, but i ignored it. And then i realized coco had taken the box down and she had about four slices hanging out of her mouth! I was shocked at her ability to get pizza! She is a crazy little girl! And just now Coco chases a ball and retrieved!! When i try to get her to do that at the dog park she dosnt and today she randomly did so i am so proud of her!!!!!! i love my little baby!<3

Oh No its Flea's!

If your dog has fleas its not fun for anyone. The first thing to help fleas is that you should get ADVANTAGE this product is flea medicine and it is supposed to kill the fleas and the eggs. But since it is so expensive and sometimes it doesn't work there are other ways to solve the problem. Another solution is to just wash the dog thoroughly with shampoo and conditioner (use very warm water). And if he/she is still itching then try hot spot medicine that will cool down the itching and kill some of the fleas in that area. Also you can just try picking out the fleas but that is tedious and a little bit gross. But if you choose to do that the only way to kill them is by putting them in water don't just flick them away they will come back. But if none of that works then just keep washing the dog until the fleas wash out. But the best way is the actual flea medicine. And to keep those fleas away then just do it all! everything that you do will help so you can always try new things it can only help! Every dog is different for example Coco dosnt like to chase balls but she loves to play with toys!
